from now on, call me tony

Bonnie and Clyde (1967): a very well done movie. couple of complaints though (of course). i didn't feel like i grasped the extent of their crimes. they whizzed through the crimes and lives so fast that you never really understand what gave them so much notoriety. next is their little romance they had going. there was never any progression in the way they fall in love. it becomes so sporadic because one minute he doesn't seem to "like her that way" and the next they are getting down to it. and all of a sudden they love each other but so much time goes through the movie where they don't show much of anything. however, very good and worth seeing. classic movie with some good classic acting.

Zoolander (2001): finally an excellent comedy by these guys. there are so many one-liners and cameos that make this movie incredible. this is probably will farrell's best performance too next to his parody of the architect from matrix 2. the story is insane and i didn't even get tired of the constant barrage of retard jokes from any of the models. very much worth buying. plus, its got natalie portman in it which boosts the movie into perfection status.

speaking of good comedies, i saw napoleon dynamite again this weekend. its crazy because they moved the movie into the big theater now and it was still sold out for a matinee. it was still so amazing. this is truly the comedy of the year and everyone will love it. go see it! i'm also still dying to see garden state. only playing in SLC, so might have to wait on that one.

i have yet to see the effects of my sleep last night. i woke up just about every hour throughout the night and have no clue why. and when i would wake up, i'd be wide awake. don't get me wrong, i love checking out the clock and seeing i have 5 hours or 1 hour of sleep left, but to do this every hour got a little ridiculous. been sooo busy lately which is why i haven't been keeping up to date on here. school sucks sooo bad right now. more reading than i could ever dream about. i still don't even have my book for drugs and crime yet! speaking of, i have this idiot that's in the class with me named matt. i know him from past semesters and i'm sure we'll be hearing more about him as the semester goes on.

so because of immense amount of homework, i'm gonna have to cut back on sopranos to 1 a night instead of our usual 2 or 3 episodes. we attempted it for the first time last night and it sucked. just doesn't feel right watching only a single ep. i really love that show. the more i watch, the more i see myself in tony. or maybe what i could have become. i'm not saying i'd be a gangster and kill everyone, but more of his personality. by the way, i also see a lot of myself and kim in tony and carmela. now, for those speculators, this does not mean anything bad or should imply that i'm off with some russian chick and screaming at kim, or she is off dreaming of the painter. it just means what it means.

lynds and i got so lucky last night. we are taking legal research in the library and were so afraid that we'd get stuck with the she-devil professor jill. neither have actually taken her in the past, but there are enough stories going around to want to avoid her like the plague. so we are in class waiting, and sure enough she walks in. however a few minutes later, hugh rode walks in and takes over the class. so, rode is in, she-devil is out. i don't think i could have handled a class with her this semester.

so now i'm off to work on the worst class alive.

skewl sux

so i've had 3 days of school so far and it already feels like finals week for me. i'm going to have so much freaking homework this semester. already i am swamped and procrastinating worse than jessie (jk). on top of that, i have yet to even have my research in the library class which will be on monday. i'm gonna have to force myself to get back into those old habits of focusing on school and nothing else.

sad the olympics are almost over, but in a way, that's a big part of why i'm not doing any school crap so it will be nice when they are done. i've seen some freaking amazing stuff this year on the olympics. they never fail to entertain. already looking forward to beijing when bob costas makes a trillion dollars more doing this thang. today's gonna be an alright day i guess. catch a movie later on and then i work at 7. maybe get my dance on at that mall. don't got much to say right now. lots of rambling cuz i just woke up. damn cat would not leave us alone this morning. jumping on the bed and gun safe and window cell knocking everything down. guess i might as well just finish off my san fran trip.

woke up the last day and slut face was kind enough to not get out of bed to tell us goodbye and make her dad drive us to the airport because she was too tired. lets see, we had met her dad like once during the whole trip. very nice of him, very dumb of her. we fly back to denver, which i would then connect to the salt lake plane about 45 minutes later. but of course they lose a piece of my luggage in transferring from the denver plane to the SLC one (which was actually the exact same plane). so i don't end up getting that until the next day after they had to drive it out to my place. then kim is like over an hour late in picking me up because of random construction on the freeway. no luggage and no ride home was not what i had in mind in arriving home, but what can you do? some little tidbits; when i was in denver on the first night at my mom's, the stupid dog ate my flip flops i had owned for like 6 years now. so mom was kind enough to buy me some sweet reefs. first morning in cali, jamie told me to push tom in the pool. so i did. problem was that he, for some unknown reason, had her cell phone in his pocket. and you gotta understand, her cell is her life. she talked more on that than to tom while we were there. sadly it was dead now and she had to get another battery to fix it a few days later. granted we were each somewhat responsible, but she pretty much blamed tom for it all. thought that was kind of humorous. lastly, i had one of the best times with my older bro. we kinda grew up not together with him gone and he being a lot older, so we never really had that connection. but for like the first time we actually went out and did something together which was nice. went to dave and busters, ate dinner one night, and saw anchorman. really wish i lived closer just for that reason. not sure how it would play out though cuz of the age difference. i'd prolly end up being the annoying younger brother and feel like i'm a nuisance to him. don't have to really worry about it anyways since i live in provo. time to get ready now. another perfect day here in utah. its the wannabe california coastal utah weather day again.

neverending story, aaah,aaahh,aaaahh

Tootsie (1982): no way does this deserve to be in the top 100 greatest movies of all time. it even got 10 oscar nominations. dustin hoffman, as usual, did a good job, but the story is dumb, cheesy, and the music is awful. they have this terrible montage using this unbearable 80's slow song. maybe i just don't like movies about guys dressing up in drag because i thought mrs. doubtfire was terrible too. i know there is a good message behind it all, but i'll save you the 2 hours: be nice to ladies. there, you've just seen the movie, now go on with your lives, after you keep reading this of course.

speaking of movies, i swear i did a review on spinal tap, but it is nowhere to be found on my blog. does anyone remember reading about it? i remember comparing it to Love Fist from GTA vice city. this means either one of two things: i'm losing my mind, which is very possible these days, or what might be even worse is that this little website is losing some of my posts. who knows what else may have been lost.

yesterday was my first day back to school. so weird going from summer to fall semester. the school was packed beyond belief. and mike and i have determined that the parking spots to student ratio that they allow is about 100 to 1. i swear it took about 15 minutes of me driving back and forth down the isles to find a spot. my first class was intro to law and politics (an upper level political science class which doesn't sound very upper level if you ask me). lets just say that i won't be going back to that class. it sucked soooo bad. the freaking syllabus was about 10 pages alone. i'm sure i'd learn a ton and the professor seemed alright, but with his crazy participation and not so easy reading, i'm not about to sit through that. it all worked out anyways. i dropped that, added Drugs and Crime (if he lets me today), get to sleep in longer MWF's, so all is good in the world. next was Race and Minority Relations. this will be fun. no exams, just lots of projects. lastly was Constitution with Stott. this is my fourth class that i've taken from him and its sounding like a typical stott class.

the retard teacher finally posted the grades for probates and by the powers of loki i got an A. so got a nice, probably undeserved 4.0 for the summer. by the way, here are my classes for the semester:
Criminal Justice 4160: Constitutional Right and Responsibilities
Legal 1220: Legal Research in the Library
Criminal Justice 3400: Drugs and Crime
Legal 3320: Family Law
Sociology 3200: Race and Minority Relations
my apologies to lyndsie. she said they were building a best buy in this shopping center, but i told her that the building they are putting up was way too small. well, turns out they are putting a best buy there, however not in the building we thought, but one they hadn't started on. so in a way, we were both right, both wrong. but who cares about that!!! i'm so freaking ecstatic they are putting a best buy here finally. the closest one has been sandy like 30 minutes away. its my favorite store for all you non mega overpriced electronic store shoppers.

back to san fran, our last day we had the house to ourselves the whole morning since slut face was still at the party. it was so freaking tight. we were like little kids running around a toy store. went swimming and threw the little mutt dog in the pool. then the dog got into the house and into slut face's room and got mud everywhere. i've never laughed so hard. first of all though, who has white carpet, i mean really? second, they had no cleaner in the entire place because they get their maids to do all the work. i was pretty happy about it all though. she eventually came home and tom and i took off. we were gonna drive to BART again to go back to SF, but i really really wanted to see the golden gate before we left. so we drive/steal her car and take it into the city and cross the bridge (both bridges actually). i really wanted to walk across the whole bridge, but tom was crying like a girl because it was too windy and cold. but i was sooo satisfied. then headed to the ballpark to catch a giants game vs. the mets. had really good seats and it was a sweet park. kinda cool cuz now i've seen the giants play in their new ballpark and i saw them when they played at candlestick. the whole game centered around bonds and hoping for a homerun. i think that is the only reason people go to see the games. but the food was great, giants won, and a fight almost broke out so all in all, it was pretty sweet. we even got the tickets free from slut face. that was back when she liked tom. so we drove back home, got in late, and slept like babies.

lately i've been listening to saves the day - in reverie. its really hard to get into the first couple of times you get it, but it sounds sooo much like aimee mann for anyone who know who she is. just lots of sweet melodic rockin tunes. nothing like saves the day's later stuff. k, this is prolly the longest post i've ever written. if anyone is reading this sentence right now, you get a freaking huge gold star and high five from me! props.

top down, sugar hill gang blastin

looks like the vacation is officially over with. yesterday was back to work and in an hour i'll be sitting back in a class room. retard professor has yet to post grades from my summer class. i'm getting very impatient and am gonna raise hell today if its not their this afternoon. think i might start running again each morning since i kinda got the extra time. i say that a lot though so we'll see. its just that i'm starting to look like a whale because since i left for colorado all i've done is eat so much freaking food. saw lyndsie and talked to mike on the phone two days ago. they seem to be doing alright. nothing really new there. jessie seems to be MIA though. no one has talked to her since the break started. and finally, kim and i are once again planning a trip for thanksgiving. we'll see if this actually happens though.

day 3 of the trip started with tom and i going to san jose using her sweet eclipse. i just could not get enough of driving that thing. you may wonder what she was driving each day when she had to work. well between the new BMW and new Lincoln Navigator, she chose the BMW. so we drove there with the top down and headed to see my old house and school from when i was in like 5th grade. then drove passed the Winchester Mystery House. didn't get a pic of that though. tom needed to make a stop off at where the sharks play to show them what he thinks of the team. by this time we were really getting bored, so we rolled up to some ghetto mall, however which had a dave and busters. got my dance on there and added some more flight time on that sweet sega flight simulator. eventually just headed back to her place to get ready for the party later that night. the party was pretty tight and the peeps were awesome. it was just another typical kegger, but we all had a blast. by this night, tom and his girl had pretty much stopped talking as she proceeded to get on this other guy there. her friend nicole took tom and i home (and dropped us off at the wrong house, which we realized as we walked through the backyard of her neighbors), and the slut ended up spending the night and bring her total to 14. yes folks, that's 14, or 1 a year since she was 4 years old. all in all, the day was mighty fine.

finally i feel important because everybody wants me dead

Dawn of the Dead (2004): stupid and not scary at all. the original was sooo much better. maybe a sliver of some actual plot, if that. its not even worth me giving my critique. just don't see it.

did everyone catch the men's high bar finals? unfreakingbelievable!!!! i haven't seen that much drama since, well since yesterday when ryan threatened to kill me. first off, now that new light has been shed on the all around, maybe he does deserve the gold there, but i can't say that the silver should be hamm's tonight. personally, i think he should be stripped of the medals just because of his high pitched voice, but maybe that's why i'm not a judge.

got my books today for school. very excited about that. still no grade posted for my probates class because the teacher is a freaking moron slacker. and watched lots of olympics today and started season 2 of soprano's. that was my day. oh yeah, and the retards living upstairs came down for the second time in a month to complain about the volume of the music. funny because it was soooo freaking low, and our tv is usually much louder. idiots. add two more people to my hate list.

as far as day 2 went for san fran, tom and i woke up (tom woke up to the satisfaction that he got some booty the night before) and jetted to the city. drove her car just to BART which was about 5 minutes from her place and took that in. got off smack in the middle of the financial district, so had a looooong 30 minute walk to fisherman's wharf. hung out there for a while and walked around. got my glass from hard rock cafe which i'm very proud of. walked over to the cable cars, but there was like an hour wait to get up. so he and i decided to walk about 4 mountainous blocks to catch it further up. on the way just happened to run into crooked lombard st. took the cable car to powell and market and went into the fattest mall i've ever seen next to that sweet one on the vegas strip. then stupid me wants to take a pic of some sights so we just have to walk through the freaking ghetto to get there. i stop to take a pic of a concert for my bro when this pimp walks up to us and starts yelling at us about if he still had his agent and was still on crack, he'd take my camera and smash it up and kill us (no, it wasn't ryan) because he thought we tried to sneak a picture of him. kinda scary moment and he was a true pimp too. had the pimp hat and everything. funny cuz if i had even seen him, i prolly would have tried to take a pic of him when he wasn't looking. so i get my pics i wanted, then we head home. later that night, more swimming and hot tubbing.

by the way, happy belated birthday to patti!

NBC is my new drug of choice

Anchorman (2004): a very funny movie. took some convincing on my bro's part to get me to see this, but it was worth it. the fight scene was awesome as was the retard weatherman. he actually made it more worth watching than will ferrell. loved all the cameos, but these movies are starting to get way too cheesing in trying to maintain some sort of plot in the mix of all the one-liners. that would be my only complaint. doubt i'd see it over and over again, but definitely worth seeing at least once.

looks like ryan's blog is no longer up and running. sorry to those that missed it. it was quite amusing. by the way, too bad i didn't save my fan mail he sent me yesterday. i think that would be my first death threat ever. well i'm always down for a good laugh. faggot.

today consisted of nothing but the olympics. i tell you, the olympics are one of the greatest things ever to happen to human kind. next to nothing can beat it. i'm sad i missed so much while i was in cali, but i hope to make up for it this week. and by the way, if they find out the korean's did bring up a protest during the competition, hamm should give up his gold. he obviously doesn't deserve it and it would be the most gracious act on his part.

as far as san fran goes, first thing i gotta say is that jamie is a bitch. she is stuck up, would prolly be considered white trash if not for her rich daddy, is spoiled beyond belief, treats people like garbage, plays her music way too freaking loud, is a whore, is by far the worst driver to sit in a car, is a whore, and is a nasty smoker. granted, she is gorgeous and very reminiscent of ryan's girl, but her personality makes her so sick. her and i got along, but the way she treated tom disgusts me. that's it on her. first day there, we ate at in 'n out of course, then headed to santa cruz. i was the only one who braved the cold waters and had a blast doing it. tom and her did very well together the first day and were all over each other. mr third wheel ethan was a little uncomfortable, but still managed to have a good time. went over to the boardwalk and road tons of rides there. found a DDR dance game at the arcade and did that for the first time, where jamie proceeded to call me a faggot for doing it. by this time i had probably known her for less than six hours. drove back to her $2 million home in pleasanton and got our swim on, then our sleep on. excerpts from day 2 tomorrow.

school starts wednesday and back to work on tuesday. that means tomorrow i'll be watching the olympics, a movie i rented for when the olympics aren't on, maybe getting dressed, and that's about it. finished the first season of the soprano's today. there was so much freaking suspense in the last 10 minutes that i was sure they would leave it on some big cliffhanger, but there was nothing. still enjoyed it though. tomorrow most likely starts season 2. life seems to be getting back to normal in ethan land. work and movies will soon dominate my life again, and oh yes, another semester is around the corner for me to piss everyone off, them to hate me, and me returning the favor. life is good.

you'll never know such a friendship Posted by Hello

like i never left

i was so looking forward to coming home from the trip, but i just want to go to sleep and start over tomorrow. first off, my suitcase is still in denver, while i am sitting in utah at my computer. retards didn't change my baggage to the other plane, or actually, they didn't keep it on the same one that took me to denver and was to take me to SLC. next, kim got to the airport super late because of construction. so i kinda just hung out out for a little over an hour. then i come home to face the reality of bills and financial crap. lastly i take a gander at ryan's blog to see he's taken up a new hobby of ripping on me. take a look for a good time http://ryedogg.blogspot.com/. i'm not sure what pushed him to do that. maybe me choosing my san fran trip over him did it. oh well. one less friend equals less drama i guess. thanks rye.

so i have tons of catching up to do. lots to talk about from the trip. tom and i had a blast, jamie is a bitch, her car is rad, and i love SF more than ever. right now though, i'm going to sleep a long time. night.

the wait is over...

kind of an odd day. got stood up in glenwood. guess rhett and jess had to go golfing. i'm not mad because its their trip, but i was just sooooo looking forward to it. actually found out about it like 5 minutes before getting into town. but made it to denver in like 7 hours, which was like record time. then headed to joe's for some quality brutha time. hung out at his place for a few hours, was on the phone with dell folks from india for hours. freaking retards obviously don't know anything about computers and are too retarded to even read the screen telling them what to do. so they are going to have to send out a new comp to J now. then we headed to dave and busters to get my dance on. had a really good time with him. i wish we were closer and all. guess he and i always had a lot of just bad timing. now i'm at mom's place chillin here. turns out she is buying that house in utah, or at least making the attempt. right now her and kim are talking on the phone right now about the whole situation. not sure that kim wants her living out in the middle of nowhere. i love denver. downtown is so nice and the weather here is perfect. the mountains were beautiful and actually had trees on it, not like utah's wannabe mountains. not sure what i'm gonna do tomorrow. just relax i imagine. joe told me such a funny joke today at dinner. he probably doesn't even remember what it was, but i can't wait to use it. well, gotta talk to my mom for a bit. later

welcome to the boneyard

Up in Smoke Concert (2000): fo sheezy this was an insane concert! freaking unbelievable. i've never seen a concert here in the U.S. where every person is so into the show. the songs they played were off the hook (now i'm just being dumb). there is nothing like seeing snoop with a freaking 18 inch revolver and dre with a desert eagle blastin some guy. some of the songs are proof that they can't sing very well, however the entertainment value was tight. caution, its very unedited, and most of my peeps don't like rap. but its worth seeing just for the glimpse of when gangsta rap was at one of its primes. see it.

its finally over with. probably one of the hardest classes i've ever taken. we studied as much as we could, which sadly wasn't very much. mike and lyndsie studied i think a ton more than jess and i, which is prolly why they did so much better than us. you gotta do what you gotta do i guess. in the end, i'll barely get an A- if that. and if the stars are aligned just right for me, i'll pull an A. even wrote an extra credit paper in 20 minutes after class with the hopes he'll accept it late. oh well. now the terrible waiting begins for the grades to be posted.

now we just look on to next semester. i hope it can be freaking normal. i don't know what the deal is with some folks having issues with me. what the hell do i do to make peeps feel weird? i'm around you's guys for like 15 minutes out of the day and all of a sudden we all got problems with me. oh well i guess.

755 pictures, 4 photo albums, about 50 trips to costco, 1 year, and about $150.00 later, i'm finally done with tom's photo albums. pictures since 1998 through like 2 month ago. little jerk better be grateful for all this hard work. knowing him he'll prolly take them to his parent's house and put them in the basement. i can't stop laughing right now. i'm at work and had like 3 officers and my boss in here right now and were all making fun of me as they usually do.

so i'm leaving tomorrow early. way early. packin tonight. hopefully gonna watch two more ep's of sopranos after kim's work party, then i'm gone. i'll hopefully be updating this as much as possible while i'm there, so don't fret my pets. i need you and you need me like man needs woman and woman needs marriage...1 day.

by 2128, vegans will be supreme rulers of the universe

today is gonna be such a long day. not as long as yesterday however. jessie, mike, and emily were over at my place for what seemed like 12 hours doing j's crim law stuff and studying for today's final. luckily we finished her exams and freaking rampaged them up! tack on another A for the group!! woohoo! probates will be a different story though. there is so much to know and i don't think i've opened the book to read in a few weeks. strange because that's really not like me. usually i'm the type to read textbooks cover to cover. anyway, we have a study guide thanks to em and mike, and we are hooking up today at 2 to begin a 4 hour marathon of learning about gay trusts that everyone should have in life, but no one does. but this is it. everything has been leading up to today. last class, hardest class, last day law firm will be in a class together, jess hopefully leaves for CO, i breath a sigh of relief, mike and i wait impatiently for our grades to be posted, emily can put the focus back on catherine zeta jones rather than school, and i start packing for 2/3's of my band TLC (Tastes Like Chicken for all of those not down with the scene) two city U.S. tour.

by the way, t-money and i will be rollin in a convertible eclipse while cruisin cali. can you just picture it now? close your eyes for a sec and picture it. you're not doing it are you? jerk.

good luck to patti today on her final in her comp class. she's gonna need it. kim is going to NYC with her work on september 9th. not sure if i'm going or not, but we'll see. stay tuned for updates, all my certain friends living there. getting down to the wire now for work to be over with and me to get a jamba juice for lunch. its all about freaking peenya kowlada, no boost, add strawberries baby!! did you guys know that a chocolate moo'd there has 720 calories and a peanut butter moo'd has 880? that's freaking insane. not like my kowlada is much less or that i actually count calories, but still. there is also 6 billion carbohydrates in them too! but its nice to treat myself to one every now and then. or every week, or few days. hey, i'm sure its much better than wendy's everyday. or 5 cent hotdogs at the schnitzel. in fact, lets take a gander shall we?

Wienerschnitzel - all beef mustard dog: 350 calories, 20 grams of fat, 30 grams of carbs, multiplied by 4 @ 50 cents each every monday, equals a cheap way to die by age 30.

Wendy's - caesar side salad, w/ croutons and dressing: 290 calories, 23 grams of fat, 12 grams of carbs equals a tasty, semi nutritious way to waste money when you could be making a salad at home. jr bacon cheeseburger: 380 calories, 19 grams of fat, 34 grams of carbs AND spicy chicken sandwich add cheese: 650 calories, 29 grams of fat, 59 grams of carbs, equal the reason why i am a fat ass.

so there you have it folks, my science fair project proving that we gluttonous americans will soon reverse the trend of longer life expectancy. once we run out of oil to get us anywhere in our cars, we won't be able to drive to wendy's anymore, thereby forcing us to eat at home, but we don't know how to cook anything, so we'll all starve ourselves, and set human civilization back a few thousand years. i'm so looking forward to it.
The events depicted in this science project are fictitious. Any similarity to any person living or dead is merely coincidental...2 days.

and I'm coming home to my city by the bay

From Here to Eternity (1953): bordering between not seeing it and worth seeing. i'd much rather watch this than Pearl Harbor. very cool seeing real footage of the attack too. like Pearl Harbor though, they try and throw some made up love story in the mix of everything, but at least i felt it was a little more personal and a connection was felt with the actors. frank sinatra did an awesome job in it and deserves his oscar for it. the ending again was no good though. i'm starting to think that movies then just don't end happily. today we as an audience simply demand a happy, all loose ends tied up kind of ending. it also had an amazing fight scene in it. rivals any movie next to fight club. my advice would probably be to not see it.

okay, the bad news first. i'm really tired. got to bed at 4 in the morning and woke up today at about 9. when i go out to denver, i'm going to see my mom and fam for only like 3 days now. i'm probably not going to see karen or ryan at all. won't be able to spend much time with my bro unless he comes over to mom's place. kim is still kinda mad at me for making this decision. and i still have lots of homework and studying before tomorrow's last day. and i'm hungry.

the good news. tomorrow is the last day for school. 3 more days until i leave. i'm flying to san francisco with tom on tuesday morning and coming back saturday just before my flight leaves back to utah. i'm going to eat lunch soon. and i cleaned the kitchen. yea for me!

now before everyone gets all upset over me going to SF, put yourself in my shoes. we're getting an awesome deal to go, so which one of you wouldn't go? as a lot of you may know, its my favorite city in the world and i would live there in a heartbeat if i had the chance. but i haven't been back there since before i moved to colorado. so in the end, it really sucks that i can't see everyone and be there in colorado longer, but there is no way i can pass this up. so i'm really sorry. as for now, i'm going to watch the matrix 2 and eat some lunch. i guess i could be studying and doing hw, but finals week wouldn't be the same if i were actually prepared...3 days.

the heat is on sucka

man did we get lucky with carolyn. we originally had a paper due on the day of the final exam. then we convinced her to make the paper take the place of the final because "we are soooo stressed out with school." then we convinced her to have no paper due at all unless we want extra credit. so basically, no paper, no exam, easy A. i hate to earn my grades like that, but hey, i'll take them anyway i can get them. wouldn't you? i'm still going to turn in my paper that i worked so not hard on. this way i'll have like 120% in the class instead of the 110% i already have.

someone stole a tractor from campus last night. thought that was pretty funny. not sure who steals tractors for a living, but we all gotta make our money somehow.

so here is the current checklist for the remainder of the semester:
  • chapter 15 for jessie's crim law class
  • midterm and exam for same class
  • exam for probates
  • probate paper

and that's it. then i got work on friday, some meeting here at work during my shift, a party at kim's work, then early saturday i'm out the door. then comes the daunting task of choosing who i'm gonna hang out with while i'm there. i really should see lots of my mom, but she lives sooo far away from everything. i mean, i love seeing her, but its such a pain to drive all the way out there to spend the day with her, then all the way back to westy/boulder for the night. then i want to see ryan because i always want to see him. but he is usually too busy doing this and that and his girl. then there's karen, but its hard because i have to hang with her without ryan. then my bro who i want to hook up with for a day or so. then there is tom. i could hang with tom for like days straight and not get sick of that boy. plus he is taking that whole week off from work while i'm out there. i don't know. just wish i was out there longer.

i finally got Heat on dvd yesterday. i cannot wait to see it again. i'm telling you all, if you haven't seen it, the movie man is telling you to put that on the top of your list and freaking see it already. you should already have seen every de niro and pacino movie ever made, but combine the two and you have a freaking blockbuster saga. for 2 points, name the other movie that has them both in it. can't wait for work to be over with. i need a freaking nap. and today is like the first weekday we've had in weeks where we don't have a study group. i love these guys to death, but its been so long since i could take a nice nap in my icebox of an apartment.

shoot man, i gotta send out some stupid attempt to locate message to all the agencies for this dumb tractor. i don't even know how to do it. i hate this job...4 days.

New Poll: will i be bootylicious in 25 years?

Vertigo (1958): just another typical hitchcock movie i think. maybe a little more well done. the story was great and was capped with so many twists and turns. jimmy stewart was as old and ugly, but did his part as good as ever. like any of hitch's movies, it dragged at numerous points, despite the fact that those moments were greatly needed. the point is, hitchcock's movie was so greatly thought out and the editing done was near perfection. most peeps who read this would have a hard time ever sitting through a movie like this, although i challenge each to attempt it because it is worth seeing once in a lifetime. my only complaint is the last scene and the way it ended. i just don't get it. its one of those endings when you are like, "that's it?!?! well that's gay!"

work sucked today. the school's power was shut off, meaning the internet was down for most of my shift, making for a long and boring one. luckily i had my movie though. was gonna finish up my paper too, but couldn't do that. so i had kim do some work today on the paper. yeah, i know. pretty low to have your significant other do your homework (although its certainly not the first time), but its not like i can't do it, its just its more convenient for her to do a little here and there. i'm still the one getting the grades. she's not taking the tests or actually writing the papers, well this time at least. anyways, it sounds like i'm sitting here trying to convince you all and myself that i'm not guilty of anything wrong, but i know i'm not guilty of anything bad. i had her do my works cited page, which is as arbitrary as making my cover sheet.

so i've been watching the sopranos every night and i've come to the conclusion that james gandolfini is a really, really good looking guy. well, at least for an older guy. kim doesn't seem to agree with me. i just am glad because that means there might be hope for a fatty like me when i'm older, to be somewhat tolerable to look at.

lastly i want to comment on american idol. yes, i watched all of last season. all the ups and down, including fantasia stealing the win from the lovely diana. i just want to say, where is fantasia now? i thought she was supposed to be famous by now? where is her record and number one single? its nowhere, which is where it belongs. she sucks and diana was robbed. diana would have been the next overplayed crappy radio pop singer had she won. diana had all the right elements for a pop star: young, white, cute, southern, has lots of potential improvements to blossom into a slut. what did fantasia have? when was the last time we had a big pop star that was black? we're talking like whitney houston (mariah carey is NOT black). i guess there is miss bootylicious beyonce, but anyways, you all get my point. tomorrow starts my last week...6 days.
